The Northwest Industrial Index is a unique research program that tracks Washington state industrial sectors by gross business revenues reported to the state for tax purposes and employment trends, along with federal export data and interviews with companies in targeted sectors. The research program is described in more detail in a story in the Spring 2008 issue of the Seattle Industry magazine.
